Postage, Shipping & Returns

Delivery (To UK Customers) (Customers outside of the UK should telephone the shop or email their enquiry for delivery charge infomation)

All delivery dates are given in good faith but are subject to all matters beyond the control of the Company: including acts of God, strikes, lockouts and delay by suppliers. Delivery will normally be next working day from the clearance of payment. If we are out of stock you will be notified by e-mail and given an approximate delivery date. Small items may take 3-4 days. No payment will be taken until goods are ready to be dispatched.

Gift Certificates: Rates below apply to goods purchased using certificates (eg: £25.00 certificate has £20.00 purchase value)


FREE POSTAGE On all orders over a total retail value of £150.00

Orders with a total combined weight of less than 1⁄4 Kilo are sent via 1st class recorded postage.

Minimum Postage and Packing Cost £1.00 (where applicable).

  • Orders with a value between £00.00 and £9.99 ..........Postage and Packing £3.00
  • Orders with a value between £10.00 and £19.99 ........Postage and Packing £4.00
  • Orders with a value between £20.00 and £49.99 ........Postage and Packing £5.00
  • Orders with a value between £50.00 and £99.99 ........Postage and Packing £7.00
  • Orders with a value between £100.00 and £149.99 ....Postage and Packing £8.00
  • Orders with a value in excess of £150.00 ...................Postage and Packing FOC

  • Certain items that require specialist packing will have the appropriate sum added individually and outside of the above terms.
  • Items that have a weight element (boilies, pellets, bottles, jars etc) may have a seperate carraige charge category to accommodate their delivery, orders in excess of £150.00 will though benefit from Free Delivery!

The pricing structure outlined above takes into account the possible number of items and in the case of bait supplies, the accumulated weights that may be encountered.

From time to time Verulam Angling will promote products with free postage, if additional non promotional items are purchased at the same time as long as the total weight doesn’t exceed 20 Kilos the whole order will remain Postage FREE

Postage / Shipping (International Customers)

NB: All listed pricing is for shipping to UK customers, please call or email an enquiry if you live outside the UK for a quote for delivery costs to your country or location.

If an International or European order is mistakenly made without prior knowledge or approval by Verulam Angling, you will be contacted via e-mail or phone and given a quotation for delivery, where you can either agree to the additional charges or cancel your order. Where such orders have been taken and funds transferred, a full refund will be made immediately.

All items are subject to the manufacturers guarantee (Usually 12 months). All goods sold comply with current legislation and consumers are reminded that these items and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Returns and exchanges

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Therefore, please remember you can order with  confidence as we will exchange or refund any item you are not happy with. All we ask is that you return it to us within 7 Days and in original packaging which should be unopened. You can contact us via totalcarp@btopenworld.com our contact form or call us on 01727 868801. In order for us to process your enquiry more efficiently then please have your order number and home post code ready.

    * You will have to pay the return cost of postage or collection can be arranged at your cost for larger items
    * We recommend that you use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery for returning items

Defective or Faulty Products

If you believe that the goods you have purchased are defective at any time please report this as soon as possible to our customer services. If the goods are within the manufacturers guarantee period we will arrange to repair, replace or credit the goods as per the manufactures guarantee. It may be necessary to inspect the goods. Should this inspection prove the fault to be the result of customer misuse then our normal service charge will apply.

Privacy Policy

Verulam Angling use the information supplied by you through the ordering/registration page to process and fulfill your order. We may also use it to tell you about changes to our services, inform you of special offers and new product offerings that we think may be of interest to you. If you purchase an extended warranty, your details will be passed to Verulam Angling, for the purpose of administering the warranty.
